Sunday’s Rugby Africa “Super Sunday” action will be broadcast live from the Nyayo National Stadium.

Women’s action sets the ball rolling as the Kenya Lionesses take on Madagascar in the test match. This match kicks off at 11am and will be an opportunity for the Kenyans to avenge last Saturday’s 27-15 defeat to the same side.

The Kenya men’s U20 national team,Chipu,will then take on their counterparts from Madagascar,the Junior Makis, in the U20 Barthes Trophy decider. This match which kicks off at 1.30pm sees both sides in with a chance of being crowned Africa U20 champions after emerging victorious in their previous encounters with Senegal. Kenya defeated the West Africans 50-3 om Saturday 26 June while Madagascar were 34-3 winners over the same opponent last Saturday.

The last fixture of the day takes place at 4.00pm when Kenya’s senior men,the Simbas face Zambia’s senior men,the Copper Eagles in a crunch Rugby Africa Cup Pool B encounter.

Kenya fell to a shock 20-19 loss to Senegal last Saturday while Zambia were beaten 20-5 by the same side on Wednesday. The winner of this clash joins Senegal in the 2022 Rugby Africa Cup which serves as the African qualifying tournament for the Rugby World Cup 2022 in France.
