NextGen launches sleep monitoring trial run with Chipu

In keeping with their philosophy of speed and precision,Next Generation Sports (NextGen) have this month began the trial phase of a sleep monitoring program to further collect and evaluate data pertaining to the recovery and wellness of the national U-20 team, Chipu.

As we approach the 2018 Rugby Africa U20 Barthes Cup, NextGen has and continues to collect and use data to guide both the players and the technical bench.

The sleep monitoring program is aimed at further improving the precision of the data in regards to recovery management of the players, the program is also meant to give the players an opportunity to participate in the process of data collection and begin to grow a culture of accountability.

The program will further populate their performance database with vital data that will continue to be aggregated with the one goal of having averages that will assist the Kenya Rugby Union in future U-20 player selection and development.
