Elgon Cup: Five potential debutants in Snooky’s first squad

Five players are in line for their test debuts after making Head Coach Ian Snook’s first 23 man squad for Saturday’s Elgon Cup first leg clash away to Uganda.

Kenya U20 captain Xavier Bett, former Kenya U20 lock Malcolm Onsando, Patrick Ouko, Joseph Odero and Andrew Chogo have all been included in Ian Snook’s first squad.

The clash at the Legends Rugby Club in Kampala will also signal the start of the Simba’s test season which sees them play in the Rugby Africa Gold Cup which this year serves as the African qualifying round for the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.
