When Darwin Mukidza steps out on to the Legends Rugby Club turf in Kampala at 4.00pm on Saturday 10 June 2017, it will a special moment for him. Not only will he secure his 12th cap for the Simbas, it will be the first time he leads the side as captain.
Kenya Rugby caught up with the utility back who features for current Kenya Cup champions KCB ahead of the team’s departure to Kampala and he spoke of the feeling, saying, ” I feel privileged, I am handling an elite group of players and look forward to their cooperation in executing whatever plans management has. We expect to register a positive result.”
