Innocent Simiyu believes that this weekend’s Assupol Sevens is a good platform to test Kenya’s plans and expose new players ahead of the incoming Sevens World Series which kicks off with the Dubai Sevens on 1/2 December.
Simiyu will be in charge of the Kenya Morans who are in Pool A with South Africa, Scotland and England Academy. He said, ” It is a good pool to start pre-season games with. We hlope to use the structure of the tournament to trest our plans and expose new players. We have the luxury of playing three World Series level games that will help us know where we are in relation to our preparations for the season. We believe we have the potential to perform well at the Assupol Sevens.”
