Nato Returns As Simbas Head To Hong Kong

Nato Simiyu in action during the Simbas 45-24 win over Uganda at the RFUEA Ground on Saturday 30 July 2016

Fly half Nato Simiyu returns to the Simbas after a year’s absence as Head Coach Jerome Paarwater named the 26 man travelling party to the Hong Kong Cup of Nations taking place in Hong Kong between 10th and 18th November.  Simiyu’s last taste of test rugby was the 34-10 home win over Hong Kong in Nairobi in August 2016.

There is also a return for fellow fly half Biko Adema who limped off injured during the Simbas 19-19 draw against the same opposition in Nairobi on August 20 this year while Alex Olaba, Peter Kilonzo and Elkeans Musonye get the nod for their first tour and with it the opportunity to add to their solitary caps.

Vincent Mose take on two Hong Kong players during the 19-19 draw between the two sides in Nairobi on 20 August 2017

The Simbas start their campaign with a clash against Chile on 10 November before playing Russia on 14 November. They will complete their fixtures against hosts Hong Kong on 18 November.
