Simiyu Names Morans Squad For Assupol & Safland Assignments

Innocent Simiyu has named a 16 man Kenya Morans travelling party  that heads to Southern Africa for the Assupol International Sevens in Stellenbosch, South Africa on 28/29 October and the Safland Sevens on 11/12 November in Swakompund,Namibia. The team leaves Nairobi on Friday morning.

The squad, which is a mix of old and new players selected from the just ended National Sevens Circuit will also hold a 10 day training camp in between the two events.

These two tournaments will form part of Kenya’s preparations for its upccoming assignments before a final squad selection from the 43 players after the National Sevens Circuit is made ahead of the opening round of the HSBC Sevens World Series in Dubai.

The Morans are in Pool A for the Assupol Sevens with South Africa, Scotland and England Academy.
