Chipu have named their match day 23 for the Rugby Africa Barthes U20 South Trophy final clash against hosts Namibia at Windhoek’s Hage Geingob Stadium at 6.00pm on Saturday 31 March 2018.

Paul Odera has retained the side that started Wednesday’s 51-13 win over Madagascar but has made one change on the bench, bringing in Bethuel Anami for John Gachuhi who is rested for this fixture.

Speaking ahead of the match, Odera said,“ On attack we will have to play with speed and width through 80 minutes. Our body positions at the tackle will need to be excellent and aggressive.”

“On defense we will need to work in pairs at the tackle and get players round quickly to cover the wide channels. We lost 66-24 in the final last year. We are confident of a better performance this year.”

The winner of the Namibia-Kenya clash will face the winner of the Barthes U20 North trophy for Africa’s sole ticket to the 2018 Junior World Rugby Trophy
