Shujaa Head Coach Innocent Simiyu reckons that his side needs to work on executing and managing their game. Key thing they’ll plan on focusing on is conditioning and skills as they resume to training on the 18th of December.

Speaking after the side’s arrival from Cape Town where they finished 13th overall, claiming 3 points to sit 11th overall on the HSBC Sevens World Series with 13 points after two rounds.

Speaking to KRU on Monday night upon the team’s arrival in Nairobi, Simiyu said, “The two tournaments were challenging to us but we’re quite impressed with how the players performed.  However, there are a couple of areas that need fine tuning in regards to our execution of the game.” said Simiyu.

Shujaa lead most of the games at half time but their management in the second half is what cost the side to suffer losses in their outing.

“We need to get more players exposed to the pressure on how to manage the game in that critical time” added Simiyu

He also commends the new players in the set up and their performance in Cape Town.
