WHERE IS THE TOURNAMENT HELD?

RFUEA Ground is on Ngong Road and is about 5km from the Nairobi CBD.

It is accessible via public transport.
You can use buses and matatus ( route numbers) 2,4,102 and 111 which ply Ngong Road. You will alight at the Harlequins bus stop.

Average fare from CBD to the venue is Ksh 50.

Taxi hailing firms also make trips to the venue.

WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO ARRIVE?
It is best to show up early at the Safari Sevens so you don’t miss anything as there are some great teams and great games to watch. You’ll also get the opportunity to hang out in the famous Safari Sevens village.

WHAT TIME DOES IT END?
The last match finishes at around 530pm on Saturday and Sunday. That doesn’t mean the action is over as you can stay on and enjoy what’s in store in the Safari Sevens village – hang out, join in, enjoy the fantastic buzz and soak up the great party atmosphere. Monday is a public holiday so you can go all out!

SHOULD I LEAVE MY CAR AT HOME?
With the ongoing construction works on Ngong Road, you are better off leaving your car and taking a taxi – this gives you the opportunity to relax and enjoy the day without the worry of having to drive home.

IS THERE PARKING?
Yes there is parking. Free parking for that matter.

DO I HAVE TO ALLOW MY BAG TO BE SEARCHED ON THE WAY IN?
Yes. Security procedures are in place at entrances, and we ask you to comply with any request to have a bag or anything else you’re carrying searched by an authorized person.
Anyone who refuses may not be allowed to enter the venue.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD & DRINKS?
Sorry, no. But there are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and drink in the Safari Sevens Village, with something for everyone, including options for adults and children.

ARE PETS ALLOWED IN THE VENUE?
No pets please

ARE VUVUZELAS ALLOWED IN THE VENUE?
No vuvuzelas will be allowed past event security. We will be able to store them for collection on departure.

WHAT TICKET SHOULD I BUY?
There are plenty of ticket options. First of all remember that Friday 18th October is free entry -so no need for a ticket plus those aged 12 and under receive free entry all weekend with the exception of the VIP section which will charge Ksh 600 per day for those aged 5 and above.
