Kabras Sugar will play Menengai Cream Homeboyz in the first quarterfinal with hosts Top Fry Nakuru taking on Resolution Impala Saracens. Kenya Harlequin will play Stanbic Mwamba while Menengai Oilers face KCB.

Hosts Top Fry Nakuru beat KCB 22-17 in Pool D’s top of the table clash as both sides qualified for the cup quarterfinals.

Menengai Oilers topped Pool C with a 24-19 win over Resolution Impala Saracens .The Sarries finished second in the pool.
Quins claimed first place in Pool B with a 21-12 win over Homeboyz who finished second and also reached the cup quarters. Kisumu registered an upset win, posting a 21-7 result over Blak Blad in Pool B action to finish third.
Stanbic Mwamba played to a hard fought 14-7 win over Mean Machine to finish second in Pool A, joining Kabras in the cup quarterfinal. Kabras Sugar’s 19-14 loss to Strathmore Leos was ultimately of no consequence.

Machine scorch Strathmore as Kabras secure quarterfinal berth
Mean Machine crushed Strathmore 43-19 to stay in contention for a cup quarterfinal as Kabras reached the last eight with a 17-7 victory over Stanbic Mwamba. Hosts Top Fry Nakuru and KCB also made sure of the cup quarters from Pool D after dispatching Nzoia Sugar Webuye 19-5 and Nondescripts 31-14 respectively.
Homeboyz,Oilers, Impala reach cup quarters
Menengai Oilers reached the cup quarterfinals at the Prinsloo Sevens after posting their second win of the day, stopping Regional Logistics Mombasa 31-7 in Pool C while Resolution Impala Saracens also reached the last eight with a 40-0 demolition job of the Catholic Monks. Menengai Cream Homeboyz’ 26-0 win over Blak Blad also saw them sure of cup quarterfinal qualification from PoolB with a 26-0 shut out of Blak Blad. Kenya Harlequin posted their first win of the day, edging past Kisumu 10-5 in the other Pool B fixture after playing to a 12-12 draw against Blak Blad in their pool opener.

Opening fixtures
Hosts Top Fry Nakuru rallied from conceding an early try, stopping Nondescripts 24-7 in their Pool D encounter. Defending Prinsloo champions KCB overcame a slow start to defeat Nzoia Sugar Webuye 36-0.

Blak Blad held Kenya Harlequin to a 12-12 draw in their Pool B opener while Menengai Cream Homeboyz dispatched Kisumu 30-5 in the other encounter. Stanbic Mwamba edged out Strathmore Leos 26-17 in an exciting Pool A opener. Defending Circuit champions Kabras Sugar were made to fight for the 12-10 win over Mean Machine in the other Pool A encounter.

The day’s opening fixture pitted Nakuru’s Menengai Oilers against the Catholic Monks in Pool C. Three first half tries including Harold Anduvate’s brace gave the Oilers a 17-0 lead at the interval. They would add 19 second half points to claim the 36-0 win. Resolution Impala Saracens would post a 40-7 win over Regional Logistics Mombasa in the pool’s other opening fixture.
