The varsity side from Kakamega started with a 17-33 loss to hosts Menengai Cream Homeboyz before stunning Menengai Oilers 10-7. They would secure a place in the last eight after beating Mean Machine 26-12 before the Oilers went down 10-31 to Homeboyz in the last Pool A encounter. MMUST will face Stanbic Mwamba in the quarters while pool winners Homeboyz take on defending champions Kabras Sugar in another quarter final.
KCB will play Top Fry Nakuru while Resolution Impala Saracens face Nondescripts in the other cup quarterfinals.
