MKU Thika lift the #Driftwood7s Division Two Trophy

The Driftwood7s Division two category saw MKU Thika and Daystar Falcons as the finalists. MKU Thika was leading 12 – 0 at the breather with tries coming from Morgan Rangita and Keith Obwoga. Second half MKU Thika dotted down three unconverted tries extending their lead to 27-0 at full time earning themselves a slot in the #Dala7s Division One category.

On their way to the final, the Champions beat Embu 12-10 in the quarterfinals and proceeded to shut The Catholic Monks out of the final as they beat them 17-10. Daystar had beaten Citam Kisumu 7-5 in the cup quarters before narrowly edging Comras out with a 17-12 score line in sudden death.

The 5th Place was won by Embu who beat Citam Kisumu 8-5. Kiambu RFC lifted the Challenge Trophy as they edged  Administration Police out on a 5-0 scoreline as Stingers scooped a comfortable 32-0 win in the 13th Place final.

Cup Quarters

The Catholic Monks stomped authority in the quarters as they handed Malindi RFC a 62-0 loss booking a semifinal spot where they will meet MKU Thika who narrowly beat Embu 12-10. Daystar Falcons survived a Citam Kisumu beating them 7-5 while Comras were last to secure a semifinal spot as they won 19-12 in their match against KCA.

Challenge Trophy Quarters

The Administration Police kicked off the day two matches with a 15-12 win over the residential Technical University of Mombasa at the Mombasa Sports Club. Securing the first Challenge Trophy semifinal with the South Coast Pirates who beat Jumbo RFC 19-7. A four-point difference saw Kiambu shut Stingers out of the challenge Trophy semifinal with a 14-10 win as Meru edged Dagoretti Bulldogs out with a 24-17 win.
