In a gripping match that showcased exceptional prowess, the Lionesses, triumphed over Uganda, earning a spot in the Rugby Africa Women’s 7s finals against formidable rivals South Africa.

 

The first half of the encounter kicked off with an explosive start as Janet Okello, a key player for Kenya, demonstrated her impressive skills by scoring the first try just one minute into the game. Okello didn’t relent, swiftly adding two more tries at the 5th and 7th minute, with a successful conversion courtesy of Okulu’s precise kicking, propelling the Lionesses to a commanding lead of 17 points at halftime.

 

The Lionesses carried their momentum into the second half, with Amuguni and Auma each contributing a try to further solidify their dominance on the field. As the match drew to a close, the final score stood at an impressive 27-0 in favor of Kenya, securing their advancement to the highly anticipated finals, where they will clash with South Africa in what promises to be an electrifying battle of rugby prowess.
