There were upset results for the Catholic Monks and Kisumu as the fifth round of the Sportpesa National 7s Circuit, the Tisap 7s kicked off at the Eldoret Sports Club on Saturday morning.
Catholic Monks edged Strathmore Leos 12-5 in Pool B action, a result that was replicated by Kisumu in their victory over Kenya Harlequin.
Reigning circuit champions Menengai Oilers were made to work for the 14-12 victory over Masinde Muliro in the other Pool B encounter.
Top seeds KCB began their campaign with a 33-5 Pool A win over Homeboyz as Blak Blad defeated Mombasa 17-7.
University of Eldoret held Mwamba to a 19-19 draw in Pool D action as Nondescripts were 21-5 winners over Nakuru.
