The safari sevens day two was nothing less of a success .Fans turned out in large numbers to cheer on their teams.The atmosphere was electric showcasing the zeal from both the players and the fans.the tournament began at exactly at 9:30 PM with the last round of the group stage matches being done.the results from the group stage were as follows:

SHUJAA 34- 7 RED WAILERS
WESTERN PROVINCE 5-28 SAMURAI
GERMANY 17- MORANS 14
TROPIC 7S 00- 36 LIONESSES
CUBS 5 -00 UGANDA
The next round was the main cup semis.The first  semi was between Samurai and Uganda.The two teams battled it out both showing prowess and zeal to make it to the finals.Luck was inclined to Samurai as they beat Uganda in a closely contested battle that ended 21-19 earning a spot in the finals.The second semi finals was between hosts Shujaa and Germany.Shujaa put up a spirited fight edging out Germany from the finals.The fierce contest ended 19-5 in favor of Kenya Shujaa.
After the main cup semis ,the fifth place semis followed suit where Kenya Morans battled it out with tropic 7s and  Red Wailers took on KCB. Kenya Morans asserted dominance over Tropic 7S winning 26-10.KCB battled it out with the red wailers in a closely contested match that ended 29-14 in favor of KCB. The two teams KCB and MORANS would later battle it out in the fifth place finals.
Next was the women`s semi finals which saw a repetition of the last round of the group stage.The Kenya Lionesses thrashed Tropic 7s 40-0 to secure a spot in the finals .Uganda beat the Cubs 5-0 to secure a spot in the finals.The ninth place finals was between SA all stars and Western Province.SA all stars emerged victors after a 28-21 win over Western Province.The next game was between Tropic 7s and Red Wailers where Red Wailers beat Tropic 7s 24-10 .The last match was the fifth place finals between KCB and Morans .Morans put up a spirited fight thrashing KCB 26-00.
The womens third place play off was between Tropic7s and the Cubs. The cubs asserted dominance over their opponents beating them 31-7 emerging third place in the women` s category.The men`s third place followed suit  as Uganda battled it out with Germany for the position three.Uganda showcased their expertise in the game after thrashing Germany 31-7 to be crowned position three in the men`s category.
The climax of the day was in the finals which began with the women`s category. The contest was between Hosts Kenya Lionesses and neighbouring Uganda Lady Cranes.Luck was however not on the  side of the hosts as they put up a spirited fight which seemed not to be good enough for the Opponents Uganda .The game ended 15-12 in favor of the lady cranes.Uganda lady cranes were crowned the 2023 Safari sevens women`s category champions.
The tournament reached its zenith when Hosts Shujaa took on Samurai in the finals.Shujaa gave the home crowd a thrilling experience that left all the fans on their feet cheering on the team.Shujaa beat their opponents 19-00 to be crowned the 2023 Safari sevens champions.
