Commonwealth Games squads announced

The Kenya men’s and women’s sevens Head Coaches Innocent Simiyu and Kevin Wambua have named their squads for their sides’ upcoming assignments at the Commonwealth Games and the Sevens World Series legs in Hong Kong and .

Simiyu has made two changes to the side that reached the cup final at the HSBC Sevens World Series leg in Canada, handing a debut to Ian Minjire while Augustine Lugonzo returns after missing out in North America due to personal commitments. They replace Samuel Ng’ethe and Erick Ombasa.

The Lionesses have named twelve players for the HSBC Women’s Sevens World Series qualifiers in Hong Kong but will have thirteen players in Gold Coast when Stacy Awuor links up with the team there.
