Menengai Cream Homeboyz claimed their first major piece of  fifteens rugby silverware, lifting the 88 year old Enterprise Cup with a 21-3 win over Resolution Impala Saracens at the RFUEA Ground on Saturday 5 May 2018.

Johnstone Olindi gave his side a 3-0 lead over the Sarries 6 minutes into the match. Xavier Kipng’etich was on the verge of leveling up the scores but the kick would sail slightly wide. Mark Kwemoi came to Impala’s rescue as he converted a penalty kick but was watered down by Homeboyz’s Olindi who booted in the second penalty bringing the scores to 6-3 at Half time.

Second half saw Homeboyz land two tries, one penalty kick and one conversion. Captain Polycarp Odhiambo landed his side’s first try with Olindi adding the extras. As Impala were attacking deep inside the deejays 22, they knocked on handing Homeboyz a chance to reduce the pressure by finding touch.

An Impala infringement saw Homeboyz add to their tally as Evin Asena drilled in 3 points before a try by William Diffu consolidated the win and getting the party started right for the deejays.
