SIMBAS SET FOR RUGBY AFRICA CUP SEMI-FINAL CLASH WITH ZIMBABWE

Simbas are gearing up for a crucial Rugby Africa Cup semi-final showdown against Zimbabwe, with the Head Coach – Jerome Paarwaters naming the match-day squad ahead of the Zimbabwe encounter.

The only adjustment to the side that triumphed over Uganda sees Derrick Ashiundu return to the lineup, taking the place of Timothy Omela.

Both Kenya and Zimbabwe have lifted the Rugby Africa Cup twice – Kenya in 2011 and 2013, and Zimbabwe in 2012 and 2024.

Assistant Coach Carlos Katywa underlined the team’s intent and focus going into the semifinal clash-“We are taking each game as a final. The boys understand what’s at stake, and we’re fully locked in for this challenge.”
