The first semi final saw Shujaa lead Madagascar 24-0 at the breather. Leonard Mugaisi was first on the scoreboard as he went over the whitewash twice in a row with Taabu converting the second try. Shujaa led 12-0 four minutes in the match.
Taabu would restart the game and Eliakim Kichoi was next on the scoreboard as he picked up the ball and dashed for the try line. Interplay between Wahinya and Wanjala set up Keyoga to land the fourth try with Taabu converting successfully. Shujaa leading 24-0 at half time.

Second half saw Mugaisi land his third try while Bunyasi scored his maiden try with Wahinya converting Bunyasi’s try. Madagascar would score in the last minute, conversion sailing wide for the full time score to read 36-5.

Shujaa advancing to the Cup Final where they’ll play the winner of the Uganda vs Zimbabwe match.

Quarterfinal vs Zambia

Shujaa bagged their third win at the Africa7s tournament in Tunisia at they beat Zambia 33-7 in the first Cup Quarterfinal. Cyprian Kuto and Daniel Taabu added to their tally as they landed a try each in the first half with Taabu managing to boot in one conversion successfully.

The interplay between Michael Wanjala and Herman Humwa set up Leonard Mugaisi to score Shujaa’s third try, Taabu sure with his boot added the twos. Shujaa now led 19-0. Zambia would immediately respond as Martin Chisanga went over the whitewash narrowing the gap to 19-7 after a successful conversion.

Eliakim Kichoi and Taabu landed a try each in the dying minutes of the game with Taabu converting the two successfully. Shujaa walking into the Africa7s cup semifinal with a 33-7 win over Zambia.
