The 2025 Sportpesa7s Sevens Caravan makes its way to Ngong Road this weekend for the 59th Edition of the Christie 7s tournament. This is the oldest leg of the National Sevens Circuit boasting over half a decade of 7s rugby in the country.
Hosted by the Kenya Harlequin FC, this year’s edition will run under the theme “This One Is Ours”. “It will bring together 81 teams and 972 players from across Kenya and the region— including 36 men’s, 8 women’s, 33 age-grade, and 4 veterans’ sides — supported by 250 team officials, 32 referees, 2 citing commissioners, 2 judicial officers, and at least 32 medical personnel,” said the Tournament Director Nekesa Were during the launch.
