Day Two kicked off with the quarterfinals, setting the tone for an action-packed Sunday. Hosts Kenya Harlequin started strongly, overcoming Ngong Road rivals Impala 17-12 in a tightly contested derby. KCB were clinical against Daystar Falcons, registering a convincing 27-0 victory to secure their semifinal spot. Strathmore Leos showcased dominance in the university derby, defeating Catholic Monks 29-7, while Menengai Oilers sealed the last semifinal berth after brushing aside Nondescripts 26-10.
The main cup semifinals brought fireworks as KCB clashed with hosts Quins . In a nail-biting finish, the bankers held their nerve to edge Quins 21-19, booking their place in the final. Oilers, on the other hand, overcame a resilient Strathmore Leos side 24-19 in another close contest. Strathmore went on to secure third place, narrowly edging past Harlequins in the third place playoff.
The grand finale was nothing short of spectacular. KCB, hungry for glory, faced off against Menengai Oilers in a battle of heavyweights. With composure, physicality, and precise execution, the Thika Road giants powered past the Oilers to lift the Christie Sevens title, cementing their dominance in the National Sevens Circuit.
