The 2025 SportPesa National Sevens Circuit is set to resume after a one-week break with the George Mwangi Kabeberi Sevens, scheduled for 6th and 7th September at the RFUEA Grounds serving as the penultimate leg of this year’s circuit.

Division One Pools

The Division One pool draw has set the stage for thrilling matchups:

  • Pool A: KCB Rugby, Nakuru RFC, Mean Machine, Mombasa RFC (Invitational Slot 2)

  • Pool B: Strathmore Leos – fresh from their Embu 7s victory, will face Kenya Harlequin, hosts Mwamba RFC, and Impala RFC (Invitational Slot 1)

  • Pool C: MMUST RFC, Daystar Falcons, CUEA Monks, and Homeboyz RFC – who earned their Division One spot with a golden ticket after winning Division Two at the Embu 7s

  • Pool D: Menengai Oilers, Kabras Sugar RFC, Embu RFC, and Kisumu RFC

Division Two Pools

Division Two features 20 teams split across five pools, with allocations made as follows: Affiliate clubs (5 slots), Performance-based sides (5 slots), Nairobi region (7 slots), and other regions (3 slots).

  • Pool A: AP Warriors, Jackals, NYS Spades, Kabarak University

  • Pool B: KU Blak Blad, Makueni RFC, MKU Nairobi, TUM Marines

  • Pool C: Mbale RFC, Stallions Rugby, KCA University, MKU Thika

  • Pool D: Ngong Warriors, Zetech Oaks, Cooperative University, Stormers RFC

  • Pool E: Western Bulls, Nondescripts, Kasarani Panthers, African Nazarene
