KCB RC lifted their second Stanbic Bank National Sevens Circuit trophy on 11^th August after beating the Menengai Oilers 30-05 at the Mamboleo Showgrounds. The Dala7s leg is the third round of the sevens Caravan.

Their first title was the #Kakamega7s held on the 20th and 21st of July at the Bull Ring in Kakamega. Stanbic Mwamba won the #Kabeberi7s Title on 27th and 28th July at the Kinoru Stadium in Meru

Levi Amunga opened up the scores as he raced down the wing to land the Bankers’ first try that was followed by an unsuccessful conversion. Menengai Oilers’ Austin Sikutwa leveled the scored to 5-5 as he went over the chalk in the opposite corner. The conversion that followed missed the twos.

As the Oilers were deep in KCB’s half, the player with the ball in hand was held up by the Bankers’ defenders, the ball was ripped from his hands by Levi Amunga who played in Onyala who made his way to the try line handing KCB a five-point lead. The conversion sailed wide for the 10-5 half time lead.

Davis Chenge’s strength came in handy in the opening minutes of the second half as he bulldozed his way past the defenders landing his team’s third try. Michael Wanjala was next on the scoresheet as he sliced through the Oilers’ defense line taking the scores to 20-5 before Jacob Ojee and Andrew Amonde landed the last two tries in the match.

Resolution Impala Saracens outclassed the Top Fry Nakuru RFC side handing them a 36-0 loss after Menengai Cream Homeboyz RFC beat Nondies 19-10 to lift the 5^th place title.

Defending Champions Stanbic Mwamba who had a rough first day at the Dala7s picked up the Challenge Trophy title after seeing off Kabras Sugar with a 19-14 win. Mean Machine beat edged Kisumu Rugby 19-17 to lift the 13^th Place Trophy.

Vincent Onyala picked all three individual accolades: Top Try scorer with nine tries, Top Point Scorer with 47 points and the Most Valuable #Dala7s Player.
