The 2026 Enterprise Cup enters an exciting new chapter as the quarter finals embrace a cross country format that will see four Kenyan sides face off against four Ugandan teams. As the oldest XVs cup competition in the region, this refreshed structure is designed to strengthen competitiveness while expanding the reach of fifteen a side rugby across East Africa. The move reflects a shared ambition to deepen regional ties and raise the standard of the game.
From Uganda, the teams set to compete are Stanbic Black Pirates, Platinum Credit Heathens, Toyota Buffaloes and KCB KOBS. Kenya will be represented by KCB Rugby, defending champions Kabras Sugar RFC, Menengai Oilers and Nondescripts RFC, all of whom advanced from the in country quarter finals.
Following engagements between the Kenya Rugby Union and the Uganda Rugby Union, it has been agreed that Stanbic Black Pirates and Platinum Credit Heathens will host Kabras Sugar and KCB Rugby in Kampala. Meanwhile, Toyota Buffaloes and KCB KOBS will travel to Kenya to take on Nondescripts and Menengai Oilers.The matches are scheduled for 21st March, with the possibility of a double header in both countries once venues and final logistics are confirmed.
