Trailing 7-10 at the break, Catholic Monks pulled off the result of the round,stunning Mwamba 24-23 in Kenya Cup match day 4 action at the Strathmore University on Saturday 17 December 2022.

Patrick Ochieng, Api Joseph and Maxwell Omondi scored tries for the Monks with Samuel Omollo managing three conversions and a penalty.

Paul Opiyo and Gideon Mbithi were Mwamba’s try scorers with Kerry Otieno adding two conversions and a penalty.

Defending champions Kabras Sugar won the Kakamega Derby with a 21-0 result over hosts Masinde Muliro.

Brian Tanga landed two tries for Kabras with Shem Angugo landing a third as Ntabeni Dukisa managed three conversions.

KCB stayed top with a 45-10 win away to Nakuru at Nakuru Athletic Club as Menengai Oilers also won away, defeating Homeboyz 37-22 at Jamhuri Park.

Kenya Harlequin picked up their first win of the season, defeating Mean Machine 45-20 at RFUEA Ground.
