The Kenya Lionesses have kicked off their preparations ahead of this year’s Rugby Africa Women’s Cup scheduled to take place from 5th to 16th June in Madagascar. The Ladies had their trials on Monday 12th May at the RFUEA Grounds where a total of over 50 players assembled aiming to make the cut for the provisional squad.
The tournament will take a round-robin format with all teams playing against each other on all three match days (7th, 11th and 15th June) at the Stade Makis Stadium in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
The Lionesses will kick off their campaign against Madagascar on 7th June at 3:00pm EAT, on match day two they will take on last year’s winners, South Africa on 11th June before wrapping up their campaign against Uganda Lady Cranes. The last two matches will kick off at 1:00pm EAT.
