The Kenya Rugby Union in conjunction with UK based rugby charity organization Bhubesi Pride Foundation (BPF) and Nairobi’s Community Rugby Association (CRA) have partnered to conduct training courses for CRA coaches.

The training courses which fall under World Rugby’s Activate program commenced on Tuesday 21 January at the RFUEA and consist of a simple-to-implement exercise program that reduces the risk of injuries in the game and contributes to player performance.

These courses which included input from KRU Training and Education Co-ordinator George Ndemi and Rugby Africa Regional Development Officer and World Rugby Trainer John Bosco Muamba also incorporated coaching clinics with players from CRA and are a precursor to BPFs activities in Kenya over the next fortnight in association with their local partners G4S and the CRA.
