The Kenya Rugby Union extends its deepest gratitude to all our partners and supporters who stood with us on the Road to RWC 2027 journey.

We especially thank Kenya Airways and Amara, our front and back-of-jersey partners, for proudly carrying the Simbas brand across borders. Your belief in our vision means the world.

To the Government of Kenya, we are immensely grateful for facilitating the team’s High Performance training Camp in South Africa and ensuring player allowances were honoured during the tournament in Uganda. Your support was critical to our preparations.

We appreciate Dr. Raymond Omollo, PS Interior, whose unwavering commitment and personal token of support played a key role in boosting team morale. We also thank SOW Advocates LLP and Joe Onsando for generously supporting the Simbas’ journey. Your contributions did not go unnoticed.

To the Uganda Rugby Union, thank you for being exceptional hosts and organising a fantastic tournament. We are grateful to Rugby Africa and World Rugby for providing the platform and opportunities that continue to grow the game on the continent.

A heartfelt asante sana to the Simbas players and technical bench. Thank you for the hard work, sacrifice, commitment and determination. You represented Kenya with pride and lifted our flag high.

To our fans, though this chapter didn’t unfold as we hoped, the spirit, passion and resilience you have shown in support of Simbas is something to be proud of, Asanteni sana.

Congratulations to the Sables and the Zimbabwe Rugby Union on winning the 2025 Rugby Africa Cup and qualifying for the Rugby World Cup 2027! A remarkable achievement and well-deserved victory.

Finally, we send our best wishes to UAE and Namibia as they prepare for tomorrow’s Repechage qualification match at Mandela National Stadium. May the spirit of rugby guide you.
