Lionesses Ready for South America as Squad for HSBC SVNS2 is Named
Kenya Lionesses Head Coach has named a 13-player squad that will travel to South America for the final two legs of the HSBC SVNS2 Series set to take place in Montevideo, Uruguay and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The squad sees the return of key players who missed the Nairobi leg, bolstering the team as they aim for a strong finish in the series. Judith Auma makes her comeback after recovering from an injury sustained during the qualifier tournament in Los Angeles, which ruled her out of the Nairobi leg.
Also returning to the squad are Christabel Lindo and Faith Livoi, who both missed the Nairobi leg but have now joined the team in time for the crucial South American assignment.

Meanwhile, Grace Okulu will miss the South American leg as she remains with her club in France due to club commitments.
Speaking after naming the squad, the Lionesses Head Coach emphasized the importance of the upcoming legs as the team pushes to secure qualification for the HSBC SVNS Championship.
“The team is ready for the remaining two-leg assignment. Our focus is clear, we want to finish in the top three in both legs so that we can secure our place in the Championship,” said Simon Odongo.
