Noreen Liyosi makes her international officiating debut after being selected to the match officials panel for this weekend’s Victoria Falls Sevens in Zimbabwe.
A teacher at Nakuru’s New Life Academy, Liyosi transitioned from an active player to a match official five years ago and has risen through the ranks, overseeing fixtures in the KRU Championship, Eric Shirley Shield and Nationwide leagues and also officiated fixtures in the top division of Kenya’s National Sevens Circuit.
Meanwhile, Beryl Akinyi and Emmanuel Marete have been nominated to officiate at this year’s World University Sevens taking place from 12th to 14th July 2018.
