Shujaa kicked off their Singapore 7s campaign with a 28-19 loss to England.

Kenya was first on the scoreboard as Collins Injera went over the try line with the conversion sailing wide. Dan Norton gave his side the lead as he dotted down two converted tries for England to lead 14-5 at the breather.

Second half, both sides added 14 points to their tally. It was England who extended their lead to 28-5 as Alex Davis landed a try off a penalty against Kenya followed by Ollie Lindsay- Hague who landed the fourth try solidifying England’s lead.

Two converted Kenyan tries by William Ambaka and Nelson Oyoo were not enough to secure a win in the first match.

Shujaa meets France at 11:18AM and USA at 2:44PM
