Shujaa kicked off their Safland7s campaign with a 12-0 win over hosts Namibia. Herman Humwa was first on the scoreboard as he landed Shujaa’s first try at the corner of the pitch. Oliech missed the extras and scores remained 5-0 at the stroke of half time in favour of the Kenyans.
Second half Ambaka played in Oliech who went over the whitewash for the second try; sure with his boot, he split the posts extending Shujaa’s lead to 12-0. Namibia’s effort to score a last minute try were halted following a miss pass that saw the ball find touch and the referee ended the match.
Shujaa will play Zambia at 7:40PM.
