Shujaa will kick off their Pool D fixtures at the Dubai Sevens against Tusker Safari Sevens finalists South Africa on Thursday 5th December at 6:54pm EAT in the last match of the day.

They will then play their remaining group games on Friday 6th December, starting with England at 12:26pm before wrapping up against Spain at 6:32pm.

This is the opening leg of the 2019/2020 HSBC World Sevens Series that culminates on 31st May 2020. Shujaa resumed their training session on Monday 18th November after taking an eight day break after their successful Tokyo Olympics Qualifiers’ outing on 8th and 9th November in Johannesburg South Africa. Shujaa secured their 2020 Olympics spot by lifting the Africa Men’s 7s title in Johannesburg.

Technical Director Paul Feeney is also expected to name his 2019/2020 season squad on Thursday 21st November.

Meanwhile, the Lionesses will feature in the International Invitational Women’s Category in Dubai where they have been grouped in Pool C alongside Arukas Queen Kumagaya, Belsevens, Tokyo Sankyu Phoenix and France 7s Development.

They will start with two fixtures on Thursday 5th December, playing Tokyo Sankyu Phoenix at 12.40pm EAT before taking on France 7s Development at 5.40pm. Their remaining pool fixtures will be played on Friday 6th December, starting with a clash against Belsevens at 12.20pm before taking on Aruka Queen Kumagaya at 2.20pm.
