Shujaa beat Wales 26-12 in their final Pool B encounter at the Sydney Sevens on Saturday morning.The result saw Innocent Simiyu’s charges reach the cup quarterfinals.

Needing the win to keep their cup quarterfinal dream alive, Shujaa started off on the wrong note,Lloyd Lewis with the converted try to see Wales go 7-0 up but tries from Willy Ambaka, Dan Sikuta and Eden Agero who added two conversions saw Shujaa lead 19-7 at the break.

Agero would then convert Arthur Owira’s try before Wales scored late, Shujaa claiming the result and second place in Pool B behind Argentina who beat France 19-12 in the other Pool B fixture.
