Shujaa jetted back to the county from the Sydney and Hamilton legs of the HSBC Sevens World Series where they garnered a combined 22 points to move up one place to eighth on the series log with 35 points.

Head Coach Innocent Simiyu, speaking at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Tuesday morning said, ” We are quite happy with the way the boys played. They gave  everything. It was a good platform to build on going into the later part of the season.”

Oscar Ouma who captained the side said, ” We had a good outing, collecting 22 points. Our goal still remains the same…attaining 100 points and we are on the right track.”

Shujaa have been grouped in Pool A with Fiji, France and Russia for the USA Sevens taking place from 2nd to 4th March
