Kenya’s Nondescripts RFC make a return to the International Vets competition at the Dubai Sevens from 5th to 8th December 2019.
Nondies, five time champions in this category have been placed in Pool F alongside Bulldogs, Bristol Wanderers and Airbus.
They will start their campaign in the 32 team tournament with on Thursday 5th December with a clash against Bulldogs at 9.00am EAT before taking on Airbus at 11.00am EAT. They will conclude their group fixtures with a match against Bristol Wanderers at 10.00am EAT on Friday 6th December.
The Dubai bound squad has drawn a majority of its squad of retired players from Kenyan clubs Nondescripts and Mwamba but also features guest players with different club affiliations.
Some of the star attractions include Kenya Sevens legend Lavin Asego who became the first Kenyan player to breach the 1000 point mark on the HSBC Sevens World Series in 2015, former Kenya and United Arab Emirates back row David Matasio, former Uganda international Tony Luggya and former Kenya international fullback Solomon Munyua among others.
