Shujaa reached the 9th place final at the Singapore 7s after emerging victorious in their knockout matches on Sunday.
They started with a 28-14 win over Canada, George Ooro, Brian Tanga, Kevin Wekesa and Edmund Anya landing tries with Tony Omondi and Daniel Taabu adding two conversions each as the Canadians scored tries from Max Stewart and Philip Berna with Lachlan Kratz adding two conversions.
They would then defeat Japan 40-7, the tries coming from George Ooro who managed two tries with Alvin Otieno, Tony Omondi, Johnstone Olindi and John Okoth all touching down once.
Omondi managed four conversions with Daniel Taabu adding two.
Shujaa will face Spain in the 9th place final at 1.07pm EAT on Sunday.
