The 27th Edition of Safari7s Set for October 10th -12th at Nyayo Stadium

The stage is set for the 27th edition of the Safari7s, which will run from 10th to 12th October 2025 at the Nyayo National Stadium. The tournament, regarded as Africa’s premier rugby sevens event, will once again bring together a thrilling blend of international, regional, and local rugby action.

This year’s edition will feature a highly competitive lineup across the Men’s, Women’s, and Veterans categories, promising three days of entertaining rugby and a festival atmosphere for fans.

Men’s Category

Twelve teams will battle it out for the Safari7s crown in the men’s category:

1. Shujaa

2. French Renegades

3. UK Select

4. Walukuba Rugby

5. Shogun

6. Uganda

7. Nyati

8. KCB Rugby (National Sevens Circuit champions)

9. Morans

10. Zimbabwe

11. Apache

12. ReUnion

The teams are grouped as follows:

• Pool A: Shujaa (defending champions), French Renegades, UK Select, Walukuba Rugby

• Pool B: Shogun, Uganda, Nyati, KCB Rugby

• Pool C: Morans, Zimbabwe, Apache, ReUnion

Women’s Category

Eight teams will compete in the women’s bracket, showcasing both established powerhouses and rising talent:
