Kenya reached the cup quarters at the Canada Sevens after finishing second in Pool C. They would follow up on the 14-7 win over France with a 43-0 wipe out of Spain before going down 24-21 to pool winners Fiji.
Shujaa would land seven tries through Billy Odhiambo, Oscar Ouma, Jeff Oluoch, Arthur Owira, Nelson Oyoo and Willy Ambaka who struck a brace with Sammy Oliech slotting home a conversion alongside Eden Agero who drilled home three in the 43-0 win over Spain.

Facing Fiji in the match to determine the pool winner, Shujaa trailed 12-7 at the break but took the fight to the Fijians, eventually going down 24-21 in a match that saw Collins Injera land his 250th Sevens World Series try.
Shujaa play England at 10.14pm East African time.
