Shujaa started their France 7s campaign with a 19-5 Pool A loss to Uruguay in Toulouse on Friday.
It was a game in which the Uruguayans denied Shujaa of possessions, scoring two tries and a conversion for a 12-0 lead at the interval.
Baltazar Amaya and Mateo Vinals touched down with Guijermo Liejtenstein converting as the Los Teros led Shujaa at the break.
The opening five minutes of the second half were managed by the Uruguayans who denied Kenya of any meaningful possession.
They indeed scored their third try when Bautista Baso went with Liejtenstein converting for 19-0.
George Ooro’s try was well worked but scant consolation for Kenya who play New Zealand at 7.16pm tonight.
