The RFUEA Grounds will on Sunday 19th September host the Women’s Franchise finals with the first match, the third and fourth kicking off at 10:00 am, and the final kicking off at 12:00am.

Shibli, the U20 women’s team will kick off the day’s action against the Kifaru Franchise which comprises players from Northern Suburbs, Mwamba, BladBabes, and Shamas. The U20 team lost 12-27 to Ndovu Franchise on 22nd August while Kifaru was humbled by a 7-87 loss in the hands of Nyati Franchise.

The victorious teams from the two matches will then face off at noon to determine the winner.

“The overall goal of this franchise is to build the number of female rugby players. We’re targeting the upcoming players and all teams are encouraged to field the development players so they get enough playtime.
