Lionesses Kick Off The Women’s Sevens Series Qualifiers Against Uganda

The Kenya Lionesses will kick off their Women World Sevens Series Qualifier campaign at 6:06am against neighbours and Africa7s finalists, Uganda on Thursday 4th April 2019.

The two sides last met during the 2018 Safari Sevens with the Lionesses emerging as Champions.

8:40am, the ladies will take on hosts Hong Kong before wrapping up their day one action against Papua New Guinea at 11:14am. Speaking about the Pool, Head Coach Kevin Mwema had this to stated that it’s a challenge that both he and the team are looking forward to. “We also know that if we want to qualify we have to beat all the other 11 teams and that’s what we have to focus on,A game at a time in the process.” concluded Wambua.
