Uganda’s Saudah Adiru will take charge of the Victoria Cup closing fixture between Kenya and Zimbabwe at 4.00pm on Saturday 21 September at the Nakuru Athletic Club.
She will be assisted by the Kenyan duo of Victor Oduor and Douglas Ngétich.
The Kenyans come into this clash off the back of three wins and two defeats. They began their campaign with a 13-16 loss to Uganda in Kisumu on 22 June. They then bounced back to defeat the Ugandans 16-5 in Kampala on July 5.
Up next for the Simbas was Zambia whom they downed 43-23 in Kitwe on 27 July. Zimbabwe inflicted their second defeat of the competition, beating the Simbas 30-29 in Bulawayo on 3 August.
Paul Odera’s charges returned to winning ways with a 31-16 win over Zambia in Nairobi on 24 August.
