Sepetuka7s Div II Champions

Northern Suburbs earned a promotion to the forthcoming #Kabeberi7s Division One as they booked themselves a slot in the #Sepetuka7s final.

Despite losing 15-0 in the final to Menengai Cream Homeboyz RFC second team, the Simon Jawichre led charges won all their Day one matches securing themselves a slot in the Cup semifinals where they convincingly beat Makueni 19-5. Speaking to the head Coach, he said the team has been preparing for the last two months. They have participated in two regional tournaments in the said period that have helped in improving the team’s performance.

During the Prinsloo7s tournament, Northern Suburbs made it to the cup quarters but were knocked out by the eventual champions, Resolution Kisii RFC. They had set their targets for the season to making it to every Division Two semifinal and this weekend at the Sepetuka 7s, they have surpassed that goal and Jawichre commends the team for the hard work the team has been putting in.

Nakuru KITI bagged the Sepetuka7s spear after narrowly edging Comras 22-17 at the Eldoret Sports Club. Heading into the Spear final, Comras beat KCA 28-5 as Nakuru Kiti beat The Technical University of Kenya 28-19.
