The Kenya Rugby Union confirms its participation in the 2019 Victoria Cup with the first fixtures being away matches against Zambia and Zimbabwe on the 27th July and 3rd August respectively.

The Simbas have been in session in June and July preparing for the just concluded Elgon Cup and the Victoria Cup. The team heads to Zambia on Wednesday 24th July ahead of their match against Zambia on Saturday kicking off at 4:30pm local time.

The Management has retained the winning squad that was on duty in Kampala for the Elgon Cup and they are the same 23 players who will be on duty in the Victoria Cup. The Simbas will then head to Zimbabwe for their clash against the defending Champions on 3rd August before jetting back home and continue preparations for the return legs scheduled for 24th August against Zambia and 21st September against Zimbabwe.
