HACO Industries, through its leading skincare brand Amara, has renewed its partnership with the Kenya Rugby Union and the Kenya Simbas with a sponsorship worth KSh 2.5 million.

Speaking during the renewal, HACO Industries Marketing Director Catherine Obwino said the partnership has now entered its third year, with the brand keen to continue supporting the growth of rugby in Kenya. She noted that the renewal reflects Amara's commitment to the sport while also providing an opportunity for the brand to connect more closely with rugby fans and the wider community.

KRU CEO Thomas Odundo and KRU Vice Chair Moses Ndale thanked Amara for renewing its support, noting that the partnership goes beyond the financial contribution. They highlighted the role of such partnerships in supporting the growth of the game and creating a wider impact within the rugby community.

The renewed sponsorship also represents an increase from the previous KSh 1.5 million package, highlighting Amara's continued commitment to Kenyan rugby.

Beyond its support for the Simbas, Amara has also been supporting the 2026 SportPesa National Sevens Circuit, having come on board for the first two legs. The partnership will continue through the remaining legs of the circuit and culminate with the 2026 Safari7s.
